Whenever we visited Scotland together, we invariable got ourselves a nice cottage and even took our two cats with us! There were many highlights and special memories from our trips and we did a fair amount of walking and photographing the local wildlife. One of our favorite places was the kite feeding station at Bellymack Hill Farm, on The Galloway Red Kite Trail. It's a place I've been back to many times since.





But you can't visit Scotland without a trip to the Highlands, and another favorite spot is in and around the Glencoe area. There is just so much to photograph here and even in the poorest weather you can be rewarded with some pretty good images, while quite often the sunrise and sunsets are simply stunning.





But I had always wanted to visit Arran and explore this beautiful island, so we arranged to spend a week there on what was to be our last trip together.
